Trinity College is launching a Blockchain course for executives who are interested in learning about blockchain called “Unpacking Crypto & Blockchain”.

The four day course is delivered by Lory Kehoe, Coinbase Ireland’s head of EMEA Operations (who is also one of the leading figures in the Blockchain Ireland group that ran Irish Blockchain week earlier in the summer), and runs over 5th & 6th October & 19th & 20th October. This programme has been designed for business professionals who have an interest in:

  • Getting first-hand experience in opening a cryptocurrency account, setting up a digital wallet, creating an NFT, staking assets, and participating in DeFi protocols

What does the programme offer to participants?

This programme has been developed as a practical introductory course to benefit business professionals, who are interested in learning more about blockchain technology, cryptocurrency and digital assets and its increasing industrial applications. Following consultation with industry partners and analysis of sectoral skill needs in a context of recent and rapid technological change, a particular target for the module is leaders and managers working in digital transformation, change management, digital and innovation, technology and policy development. These learners will advance their professional competencies through an in-depth focus on the key components of blockchain technology and crypto that are relevant to their industry and/or employer. By completing the module, professional learners will be facilitated to identify and address these topics and will be enabled to progress their individual career goals by harnessing the power of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency and digital assets.
