Blockchain Standards Authority of Ireland formed1 min read

We’ve noticed recently yet another Irish Blockchain group being formed, this time the Blockchain Standards Authority of Ireland which seems to have a single company, Bitex stating membership. This is the Irish bitcoin broker owned by the GSM Solutions group founder, and founder of the (seemingly) defunct Irish Bitcoin Association which had it’s website down for nearly a year, and has not met according to chats we’ve had with some members previously listed on the board. While this site recently re-opened as well, it contained the same information as before and links to a lot of obsolete information.

While the website BSAI.ie has been registered, it is simply redirecting to the @BSAIreland twitter page, which has it’s tweets protected.

Here they state that  “BSAI.ie  – The official non-profit, semi-governmental organisation promoting best #Blockchain standards in #Ireland. @BlockchainIRL Tel: 01 6853316”

There is no other information available on this at the time of writing.
